October is shaping up to be one of the most exciting months weโve had in a long while โ full of workshops, parties, and creative fun. Around here, thereโs truly never a dull moment!
Letโs start at the beginning. We kicked off the month with theย Telly Bean โHalloween Partyโ MKAL Cowl. Itโs not too late to join โ we still have a few kits left for those who want to jump in. Then came our Florality Cowl KAL Workshop, where we explored the art of intarsia knitting. That class was such a success that weโre already planning another session.
Crocheters had their turn too โ ourย Crochet-Along featured the fabulous (and slightly challenging) Elphaba Witch Hat, not for the faint of heart! Alongside it, we made some adorable crocheted fall leaf coasters โ perfect for your pumpkin spice latte season.
Upcoming Workshops

Hereโs a sneak peek at some of our talented makers:ย
- Brian Bentlyย โ Hosting two tie-dye workshops and selling his vibrant, custom-made creations.
- Pat Croslandย โ Crochets the most exquisite earrings youโve ever seen. Tiny, colorful, and beautifully crafted. Even if youโre skeptical about crochet earrings, trust us โ these will win you over.
- Joseph Haynesย โ Offering his locally produced raw honey straight from his own bee hives (and yes, itโs delicious).
- Marla Morrisย โ Selling stitch markers and notions that knitters and crocheters will absolutely love.
- Ute Barbesย โ Selling hand-knit socks! Yes, real pairs โ not just the single-sock syndrome so many of us know too well.
This is only ourย second Craft Fair Vending Event โ our first one, two years ago, was such a success that we couldnโt wait to do it again. We wish we had room for everyone, but weโre thrilled to showcase these incredible makers from our very own community.
๐ย Bonus Treats & Surprises We still have one Halloween Advent Surprise Kit left โ 13 days of spooky fiber fun, with each surprise personally handpicked by us.
October is truly bursting with creativity at Yarn Store Boutique โ workshops, parties, and community connections galore. Whether youโre learning something new, shopping handmade, or just soaking up the festive spirit, we canโt wait to share this busy, beautiful month with you.
