Cabling Without a Cable Needle Workshop with Imagined Landscapes (Sarah Schira)

Make cable projects fly! This technique makes cabling unfussy and speedy. Learn the basics and how to interpret cable stitches from a needle-free perspective. 

Class time 3 hours.

Details: Homework to prep small ribbed swatch. We will cover left-leaning and right-leaning cables, as well as how to reinterpret cable directions in patterns. You will also learn multi-step cables (2-1-2 right cross)

Supplies:

• Small amount of worsted weight yarn, 20-30 grams. A light, solid color in a wool or wool-blend is best.
• US 7 needles for knitting flat

Required Skills:

• Knit and purl, cast on. No cabling experience necessary.
