 What is Mid-Autumn Night: Mid-Autumn Festival, Zhongqiu Jie (中秋节) in Chinese, also known as the Mooncake Festival or Moon Festival, is one of China's biggest holidays. The festival is a joyous celebration with family reunions, mooncakes, parades, and lanterns. We are really excited about these quick and easy patterns we are bringing to you at this next event! 

Key Traditions
Eating and sharing mooncakes with family.
Lighting and carrying colorful paper lanterns.
Gathering for large family reunion dinners.

So come and join us as we celebrate this "family" event with Rolita and Yarn Store Boutiuque.

Not sure of the menu as of yet, but we know it will be amazing. I have a feeling though there will be some mooncakes.

September 15, Tuesday @ 5:30 P.M.  Redfish Grill

The kit cost includes buffet style food, yarn, pattern and instruction to get started. The Crochet options will both be using Catona by Scheepjes and the knit washcloth will use one skein of Hampton by Cascade. The Zongzi Pinch Purse will have a variety of colors on the table to share and pick from as you make your choice of color options. For the others, we will contact you with color options once you make your purchase. 

Knitters you will be receiving a digital copy of the Modern Daily Field Guide #7: Ease it includes 4 patterns. We will only be knitting the Bodhi Leaf from this.

The food only option is as it states.

You may purchase drinks, cocktails or plates as well.
